Description
Description: The PBX Operator PRN provides accurate information to both internal and external customers and transfer calls accordingly. Typical Duties:
- Answer calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Transfer calls to the appropriate department without delay.
- Pages hospital staff members, physicians, and employees using the pager/beeper system in accordance with administrative policies.
- Utilizes telephone and paging system effectively in normal and crisis situations.
- Operates console in an efficient manner.
- Maintains product and district standards as appropriate.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1 plus years of experience in PBX.
