Temporary employees have the opportunity to apply for permanent positions or work in specific increments of time (typically 90 days) depending on the department’s needs.

Temporary positions are available at multiple job sites throughout Tarrant County.

  • Maintenance / Plant Operations

  • Nutritional Services

Becoming a Temporary Employee

If you are interested in applying for a temporary position or to join our temporary employee pool, please search and apply online now. You may also apply in person at 1350 S. Main Street, Fort Worth, TX 76104 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, if you do not have access to a computer.

After your application is submitted, the Talent Consultant will review all materials submitted to:

  • Identify qualified candidates with skills best-suited for department needs
  • Schedule an initial interview in person or via phone or video
  • Set up interviews with department hiring managers
  • Conduct reference checks, licensure and education verification
